Nowadays, technology is evolving intensively, bringing education and improving skills of accountants to a new level. Thanks to the distance learning systems, today every financial specialist can easily receive additional professional education without leaving their work and family, or spending time on commuting to a training center.
The distance IPFM education program was launched in 2013 by the CIS Financial Academy “Aktiv” – the only IPFM-accredited training center that has the right to teach remotely and officially conduct certification exams online.
IPFM online trainings represent a wide range of subjects. 4 of them fully cover the most important segments of the sphere of improving skills of financial specialists:

The IPFM programs consist of 6-9 modules + an online exam. They make it possible to receive the IPFM diploma (UK). Each training module includes: webinars (online seminars), archive records, an electronic textbook, an electronic prospectus, and exercises with solutions.
After completing every module, students are tested. They need to achieve a satisfying score in order to be able to take part in the next module. This lets control their knowledge and makes it easier for them to absorb the material systematically. Tutors stay in contact with their students during the learning process through exchanging messages by using a contact form installed on a website, and checking their assessments.
Due to the increasing popularity of such an education format, the training courses improving skills of specialists in European Union are going to be launched from September 2015. The first country in the region will be Poland. The age of the information technology creates many opportunities to educate remotely, leaving the traditional education model behind, guaranteeing success and continuous development.
The Institute of Professional Financial Managers (IPFM), established in 1992, provides an organization for professional, financial managers. The IPFM set out to fill the niche market between the accountancy and treasury management professions.
There has been a steady growth in the membership with several hundred applications each year. The total number of members registered is over 10,000. Members have come from over 40 countries.
There has also been a steady demand from members to be representatives in their own countries. There are over 30 such representations around the world.
IPFM has established links with reciprocal bodies in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Ghana, India, Nigeria, Pakistan, South Africa, UK, USA and Zimbabwe. These bodies accept our members as their members on payment of the appropriate fee. In most instances, there is no need for our members to complete application forms other than the one on joining the IPFM.
The IPFM provides educational services to Cameroun, Cambodia, China, Gambia, Kenya, Nigeria, Russia, Swaziland and Zimbabwe. These usually take the form of our approving the educational structures of local bodies and issuing certificates and diplomas.
Membership ranges from the Technician class through to the Doctoral Fellow class. Membership of the Institute confers the following benefits:
